Bulky Trash

Curbside Brush and Bulky Trash Collection is in the week of the 4th Monday of each month, not to be confused with the fourth week of each month. Just count the Mondays!

Brush and bulky trash are collected once each month, and we may set out brush and trash at curbside no earlier than Thursday before collection week. (More polite to wait until Saturday or Sunday, so as to reduce visual clutter for our neighbors.)

To ensure collection, you should have materials set out at your front property line no later than 7 am on Monday of the collection week. Place sealed plastic bags of leaves (up to 50 gallon/50 pound capacities), tree limbs, furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc. at curbside.

Call 311 to report missed service.

IMPORTANT!! Early placement of trash at your curbside is a violation of City Code, subject to a CITATION and a FINE up to $2,000.00 (ouch!)

“Brush” includes limbs and bagged leaves, but NOT bagged grass clippings. (Please separate your brush from other bulky trash.)

“Bulky trash” includes old appliances, furniture, mattresses, carpet, etc.

“Curbside” is off sidewalks and out of the street, keeping sidewalks, streets and storm gutters clear of obstruction.

Materials NOT collected as Brush and Bulky Trash:

  • Electronics, such as computers and televisions
  • Bagged grass clippings
  • Construction or remodeling materials (lumber, sheet rock, etc.)
  • Rocks, bricks, concrete, or dirt
  • Tires or other auto parts
